From beginners to seasoned sailors, we welcome all with a keen interest in boating and aquatic excursions to the Aberdeen Boat Club. Explore our surrounding open waters, utilise our marine services and connect with likeminded sailing aficionados within our extensive member facilities.
The Aberdeen Boat Club was founded in 1967 by yachting enthusiasts and sports fishermen who wished to enjoy access to the seas off the southern side of Hong Kong Island. The Club was initially housed in relatively humble premises and incorporated as the Aberdeen Boat Club Ltd. in 1967. Shortly after, the Club moved into its current purpose-built premises in 1979/80 and has since become one of the city’s favourite recreational boating and sailing clubs.

We host a variety of sailing events, training courses and activities for our members on a regular basis. Discover your passion for water sports, including dinghy sailing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and more.

Our Club is home to a big pool, a toddler pool and a paddling pool, accommodating all ages and levels of swimmers.
